With help from AI

Every piece here starts as my own thinking, usually spoken out loud. AI helps gather material and assemble drafts, and I edit until I own every word. Judge the writing on whether the ideas stand.

I'm using this writing to make my thinking explicit and build a connected body of context around the ideas I care about. If I were doing that only for myself and for LLMs, rough outlines and sketches might be enough. I write the ideas out because I also want other people to follow and enjoy them. I want the right people to find the work and see how the ideas fit together.

The value grows as more of my thinking becomes explicit and connected, so speed matters. AI makes it practical to turn more of it into writing other people can read. I start by recording myself rambling about an idea. An LLM helps me structure the transcript, find related thinking, and turn it into a draft. I work through that draft until it says what I mean.

Much of this writing explores how AI can extend what a person can do. The writing process itself is one example.

I decide what stays, and I own every word on the page. If an idea appears here, it's because I understand it, believe it, and am willing to be challenged on it.
